Welcome to the Transport page of the Baslow Environment Group! Here you'll find information and updates on sustainable transport initiatives in and around our village.
We're currently monitoring exciting plans for a dedicated bicycle network route that will make cycling through Baslow safer and more enjoyable for everyone.
Keep an eye out for news on local bus routes, including any changes or improvements to services.
We were also delighted to recently host a successful E-bike taster day on 18 May 2025, offering residents the chance to try out electric bikes and explore a greener way to travel.

There is still time to complete the Baslow and Bubnell Bus Service Survey, if you have not done so already.
We will be feeding back the results once we have analysed the responses, likely in the new year.
Also, we are very conscious of concerns regarding general traffic congestion through the village and we are starting to explore what practical steps can be taken in the coming years.
