Free Village
Bird Walks

For people unfamiliar with the common birds singing in the village, the bird sub-group of the Baslow Environment Group set up by Graham Duncan is organising some short bird walks accompanied by someone who can identify mostly what is singing, or calling.

All walks will start at the porch of St Anne's church and will take about an hour, depending on how many birds turn out.

Wednesday 15 May at 8.00am

Sunday 19 May at 8.00pm

Monday 20 May at 8.00am

Important Information

The walks are free of charge and St Anne's  accepts no responsibility for your health and safety or any other possible loss, including unforeseen cancellation. There is no contract of service involved. Making a reservation signifies that you agree and accept these terms.

All that is offered is to identify and hopefully show singing or calling birds. Please bring binoculars if you have them, but a spare pair will be available. High winds, heavy rain or thunder are unsuitable conditions and a text postponing the walk will be sent if these occur.
